1) 8-year-old to visit Fenway
Somerville resident Joey Ellison, 8, will visit Fenway Park today with Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island, according to Make-A-Wish. He'll receive a VIP tour and visit Dustin Pedroia.
2) Best of Somerville
The Somerville Patch Readers' Choice contest is well under way. It gives you the chance to vote for things like the best beer list, pizza and burger in Somerville. Want to vote? You can do so here.
3) Open mics
There are some open mics tonight. One is an open mic and storytelling event at Radio Bar. It starts at 8 p.m. Another is at PA's Lounge, which takes place all day.
4) Tango Bootcamp
Want to learn to tango? Check out tango classes at The Tango Society of Boston/Dance Union. There are classes for beginners and advanced beginners, and they begin at 7 p.m.
5) Weather and Red Sox
The Red Sox play the Tigers tonight at Fenway at 7:10 p.m. Today will be mostly sunny with a high around 82.
