Date Change: Davis Square Oktoberfest Now Happening October 7

The Somerville Chamber of Commerce and Redbones Oktoberfest was originally scheduled to take place this Sunday.

Oktoberfest in Davis Square, organized by the Somerville Chamber of Commerce and Redbones, will now take place on Oct. 7, according to an announcement from organizers.

The outdoor festival, complete with a beer garden, "oopma" band and bratwurst, was originally scheduled to take place on Sept. 30.

With rain scheduled for this weekend, organizers have moved the event to the rain date.

At the same time as HonkFest?? Wow, that's going to be pretty crazy!

The main Davis Square part of HonkFest is the previous day (Saturday, October 6).

However, the Honk parade from Davis to Harvard is on October 7, as is the huge Harvard Square Oktoberfest that this small Redbones event will now be competing with.
