Daddy Jones Opens in Magoun Square
The Magoun Square restaurant offers cocktails and an 80s vibe.
Daddy Jones, a new restaurant taking over the space previously occupied by Lil' Vinny's, opened in Magoun Square Thursday night, according to the restaurant's website.
Boston Eater reports that Daddy Jones, with about 35 seats, will have Greek-themed dishes, cocktails and a "retro decor evocative of the '80s and '90s."
Daddy Jones' website says it's not accepting reservations, but it will take reservations for holiday parties and gatherings.
The restaurant's number is (617) 690-9095, and it answers questions by text.

I went last night, the food was good, and the atmosphere was great. Im glad to have a new place around the corner to grab a good dinner and a good beer!

Did anyone try a cocktail? The menu (found on Boston Eater, I think) seemed to have some interesting ones that went in a different direction than the standard "craft" cocktails that have become popular (and rightly so).

I have tried the Grape Crush and Sex on the Beach cocktails! They were well mixed and featured great garnishes.

That's an unfortunate name for a restaurant.
