ArtBeat is bringing tons of musicians and artists to Davis Square this weekend, and Assembly Row, the large development going into Assembly Square, wanted to pass on some images they've commissioned for the event.
They're temporary tattoos, the kind kids love, and they're by local artists Patrick McWain and James Weinberg, according to Assembly Row.
They feature the development's mascot, Rosie the dog.
Here's what Assembly Row wrote about them:
Rosie is coming to Art Beat! By now everyone has seen Rosie’s adorable face on the billboards, now you can get the Assembly Row mascots adorable face on your cheek, your arm, your leg or anywhere Rosie can fit. Assembly Row will be distributing temporary tattoos created by local Somerville artists, James Weinberg and Patrick McWain, that capture the one of a kind personality of Somerville with the charm of Assembly Row. Stop by their booth and get in on the excitement of a brand new neighborhood coming to Somerville!
If your kids come home Saturday branded with Assembly Row tattoos, now you know where the came from.
