Now let's look forward to 2013.

It's too soon to say exactly what books will make a splash in the upcoming year, but bestsellers.about.com has a list of titles that will probably get some attention.

Some highlights include:

• The Last Runaway by Tracy Chevalier, an historical novel about the Underground Railroad
• Insane City, an adult novel by Dave Barry
• Vampires in the Lemon Grove, stories by Karen Russell
• A new Steven King book, called Joyland, about carnies in North Carolina
• Malcolm Gladwell is supposed to release a book partially inspired by the Occupy movement
