A Pokémon Champ, and a Christmas Eve Farmers Market

Plus, good news for Harvard Vanguard, and share your decorated house for a chance to win $500.

 

1) 10-year-old earns Pokémon medal
According to an email from organizers, Adon Goodpaster, 10, placed second in the Play Pokémon Trading Card Game City Championship Tournament, which was held at Comicazi in Davis Square on Dec. 17. In doing so, he won a medal and points that could potentially bring him to the Pokémon U.S. National Championships in Indianapolis over the summer, according to the email.

2) Harvard Vanguard named a "top place to work"
Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates was ranked as the 15th best place to work in Massachusetts—among the state's large employers—by the Boston Globe, according to an announcement from Harvard Vanguard. The medical group has an office in Davis Square.

3) Winter farmers market
Tomorrow is Christmas Eve, but that's not stopping the winter farmers market from being open. The market is at The Center for Arts at the Armory from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

4) Chance to win $500 for your December electric bill
