Advise the Advisory  is a sub- committee to the Somerville Special Education Parent Advisory Council.  Its function is to reach out to the Special Education community and provide a safe, confidential forum where parents and caregivers of children utilizing Somerville Special Education services can express difficulties and frustrations, as well as positive experiences, to work together in shaping the face of special education.

We ask that parents and caregivers of children being educated in the Somerville Special Education System come and share their stories of challenge.  Recommendations based on common issues will be made to the Special Education Department confidentially.

No personal or identifying information will ever be disclosed.  Just your neighbors, collecting information to help make things a little better.
