(Boston, MA – July 10, 2012)  Somerville resident Lynn Geltman attended Project Bread’s recent Walk Celebration and Awards Ceremony with Hudson resident Mary Walling. In 2012, Lynn raised $4,215 for the hungry in Massachusetts and Mary raised $6,747. Lynn and Mary have been long-time walking companions for Project Bread’s Walk for Hunger, and they are both members of the Heart & Sole Circle and Leadership Circle. The ceremony was held at the Museum of Science in Boston and recognized the success of the 44^th annual Walk for Hunger, which had more than 43,000 participants and raised $3.6 million to help fight hunger in Massachusetts.
