She is survived by her grandchildren Pamela Barooshian of Peabody, MA; Heather Soucy of Lowell, MA; Mandy Gendron of Merrimack, NH; and Brenda Vernile of Woodstock, VT; seven great-grandchildren; Skyla, Peyton, Aiden, Mya, Korey, Brandon, and Kaiden; and several nieces and nephews. Doris will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was the daughter of the late William and Lottie Wardrope; and wife of the late Arthur E. Ferrin with whom she celebrated 51 years of marriage.
Family and friends was the most important thing to her. Those who met her experienced firsthand her zest for life. Her most precious moments were spent walking along the beach, and with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Her memorial service will be held at the Carlisle Congregational Church, 147 School Street, Carlisle, MA on Sunday July 24th, at 3:00 P.M.
The family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation for the exceptional care and love Doris was shown by the Doctors and Staff at the Exeter Hospital in NH.
